"Pink Ribbon"

Sunday saw almost a complete new display of blooms.

On special display was the flower to commemorate the wonderful work of the various Cancer Organizations. Julie Lindsay, making a valiant appearance as she recovers from cancer, asked Fred for a flower to be used to help raise funds for future cancer research. The name "Pink Ribbon" was chosen.

Fred Westerman hybridized this Hibiscus by crossing his seedlings [Miss Liberty x Ekka Anniversary)] x Bev's Choice.
